This place is really good and they really do an in depth ear exam for hearing loss and would highly recommend them

Very knowledgeable. My Widex hearing aides are out of warranty. I thought I would need them re-programmed. I was given a hearing test, to find out my hearing hasnu2019t changed any. All I needed was a different sized filter! Saved me money! I have seen several audiologists with these current hearing aides, and none of them suggested this filter.

Great experience getting hearing aids for my Father who has dementia. The appointments do need to be booked a month or so ahead of time, so plan ahead.

From beginning to end it was a wonderful experience- the office staff was friendly and courteous. The doctor was so patient with my Mom and listened to all of her concerns. He answered all of our questions and concerns.

I had a great experience working with Estes Audiology, Dr. Roger Johns and Marisa at the front desk. It was really easy to make an appointment online, and also appreciated a follow up call from the Estes team to confirm my appointment as well as grab further information ahead of time and verify insurance which is helpful as no one likes arriving to a place just to find out your insurance is not accepted. I was also emailed patient forms ahead of time that I could fill out. Once I arrived for my appointment I soon after was greeted by Dr. Johns who asked a lot of questions to find out more about my situation, and then ran a series of tests. He was patient and communicative throughout the whole process. Overall would recommend.

Marisa was very helpful getting me an appointment and facilitating my insurance questions. The office was super clean and the entire process was organized. It really felt like they were anticipating my visit and had everything ready for the hearing test, consultation, fitting, etc. Dr. Johns listened to me so well and picked up on all the nuances in how I described my hearing challenges, problems with my devices, etc. I was especially appreciative of his willingness to make additional adjustments and confirm my insurance limitations. My hearing is better! A great practice and experience.

From Ron Aaron Eisenberg: I have never had hearing aids before, but was clearly having difficulty hearing and was referred to Estes Audiology by my PCP at WellMed. I had no idea what to expect, and was so pleasantly surprised by how customer service oriented Estes is. Dr. Roger Johns, audiologist, did a thorough interview and then a battery of tests, which confirmed what I suspected; I was suffering from some hearing deficits. He talked me through what I needed to do and we ordered hearing aids, which arrived within just a couple of days. Dr. Johns was very thorough in explaining to me everything I needed to know about the devices. How to care for them, how to put them in my ears, and everything else I needed to know. It is a pleasure to recommend Estes Audiology to one and all who are concerned about their hearing.

My first visit was a very positive experience. I received a thorough hearing screening and a clear explanation from Dr. Johns about my particular hearing loss. He sent me home with lots of literature to read so that I can make an informed decisionu2014with the invitation to email him with any questions I may have.

A most professional and supportive staff carefully took care of our hearing needs and made appropriate recommendations to meet the growing needs of a couple octogenarians clearly in need of the most qualified and caring.

DR. JOHN is patient, diplomatic, and gentle. And he is a great communicator when dealing with older adults who are deaf and who have memory issues. Although the darn hearing aids are much more expensive than what you get elsewhere, Dr. John's expertise, kindness, attention and respect he gave my mother were well worth the investment.

What a blessing Estes Audiology is, and has been, for years to me. It's amazing that Dr. Soriya Estes has been able to find staff so great at her many office locations! In particular, Dr. Roger Johns at the San Antonio office proved to be kind, considerate, and so very knowledgeable when consulting him and assisting me with my high tech Phonak hearing aids.
